How it works: we compare every word in MC Hammer's lyrics with the whole GOAT Meter lyric corpus (37,000+ songs from 200+ artists) using a log-odds ratio with an informative prior, which rewards words an artist uses much more than everyone else, not just often. Common words are removed, profanity and slurs are left out, and a word has to appear in at least 3 of the artist's songs. Bigger = more distinctive. Hover or long-press a word to see how many songs it's in. Only single words are shown, never lyric lines.
